Black Screen installing Dapper Drake
I'm using an Acer 4000 laptop with an ati mobility radeon x700 graphic card
(128MB)
and just as Breesy this release version 6.06 gives me a black screen during
install <ctrl-alt-backspace> gives me a short prompt to see but too short
to do something with it
is there a way to get around this ??
because I would like to test Dapper Drake to see if it can handle my
wireless broadcom interface properly or that I have to use ndiswrapper
again :-(
thx in advance

install there are function key options listed on the bottom of the
screen. When I tried a second install I hit the F4 (VGA option) key and
then I was able to do the install with no blackout. Perhaps you could
try that.
