Default Blue Dragon

The company I work for is moving away from ColdFusion to using Blue Dragon (a
..NET type application server that can interpret 95% of coldfusion tags) because
of internal reasons. Anyways...not the question ;)

The question is has anyone had experience with using Flex 1.5 with BlueDragon?
See any hiccups or problems I should watch out for? Is it possible? What about
Flex 2?

Any help would be nice, the documentation on both sides of Flex and Blue
Dragon aren't that great in integration together.

Ok, I don't do either CF of Blue dragon, but here are som general thoughts.

Flex communicates with the server using one of three protocols: RemoteObject,
HTTPService or Webservice. It does not know or care what technology is behind
those protocols.

My preferred route is HTTPService. I have successfully used jsp, asp classic,
asp.net, and know folks have used CF, PHP. If Blue Dragon can provide a URL
that will return xml over http, then Flex will be fine using HTTPService.

Same with web services. The back end is your choice entirely.

You might want to look at weborb by the midnightcoders at
http://www.themidnightcoders.com/

Their coldfusion connector is for blue dragon.

I use flashorb/weborb to connect my .net apps to flash interfaces, and
trialing flex 2.0 alpha but haven't tried the Blue Dragon part. But worth a
look.
