Bluecurve for Red Hat 7.3? - Linux Setup, Configuration & Administration

I maintain about 25 Red Hat Linux 7.3 clients for a computer science department in a liberal arts college. We have a very stable Red Hat 7.3 image, and have been trying out Red Hat 9. We didn't resolve all the problems with 9 before the beginning of the school year, but were very impressed with the Bluecurve login theme, which is just *slick*, especially on our 17" LCD screens. :) I've started to try to fulfill the dependencies for redhat-artwork, but it would require upgrading a significant number of packages. Default Bluecurve for Red Hat 7.3?

I maintain about 25 Red Hat Linux 7.3 clients for a computer science

image, and have been trying out Red Hat 9. We didn't resolve all the

for redhat-artwork, but it would require upgrading a significant number of
packages. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the Bluecurve login
theme from 9 working with 7.3 without having to upgrade XFree86, GTK, QT,
etc.?

Of course, that doesn't get him Bluecurve...

You really *do* need to upgrade a bunch of packages, including but not
limited to, qt, gtk+, gtk2, possibly kde as well.

We've got Bluecurve 'n friends all ported to rh73(and rh80,rh9) available
from
http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/

Our packages are themeable, ie, you control what is the default theme on
your system. Bluecurve is the default (*if* redhat-artwork is installed),
though you can default to kde's keramik (and gtk's Geramik) by installing
the keramik-default package.
