Bluetooth KB failure on Mac
:confused;
I've found that I can't play most Flash based games on the net that use Flash.
My main system is a PowerMac G5 DP 2.0 w/ 4GB RAM running 10.4.9, and Apple's
bluetooth keyboard & Mighty Mouse and the most recent Flash 9 version. In all
cases the cursor keys are not recognized when I try to play an on-line game
using Flash. Other keys may or may not work.
The issue is present in both Safari and Firefox so it's got nothing to do with
WebKit or the OS. The keyboard works perfectly in all other application so its
not the OS. Permissions have been repaired.
If I plug in a USB Apple keyboard in to the machine the arrow keys will work
perfectly, the bluetooth keyboard, still paired, is not acknowledged.
Anyone have any workaround? I don't like having to connect up a cabled
keyboard just to play a few games to waste some time, this stuff is supposed to
"just work", but it seems someone either at Adobe or all of the games designers
are breaking some user interface access rules on the Mac.
