Default Bob Hill, or anyone from Adobe...

or anyone else who knows for sure: What exactly are the terms of the licensing requirement for PE? I have read it carefully and nowhere does it state exactly how many computers I can install on.

Is it one computer, period, or one desktop and one laptop? If it's just one, can I use the rebate again if I buy another copy?

    Barbara,

In my Win98SE installation, in the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop
    Elements 2\Legal, I found the file USEnglish.txt.

In that file, Section 2.4 seems to relate to your query:

"2.4. Portable Computer Use. The primary user of the Computer on which the
Software is installed may also make a second copy for his or her exclusive
use on a portable Computer provided the Software on the portable Computer is
not being used at the same time the Software on the primary computer is
    being used."

    Apoligies if I'm "butting-in"...

    Interesting question, Barbara,
I'd like to know also, if I bought 5 copies, for example, could I get 5 rebates. Makes a difference in purchasing decisions, for certain.

If we're talking rebates, then this ought to answer that question.

To be eligible for this discount, you must provide proof of ownership
for one of the products in the list at right. Please select one of the
products and enter a serial number in the box at right. Limit one per
    customer

PhotoDeluxe and PaintShopPro don't use serial numbers, btw.
