Body background line up with table graphics - Macromedia Fireworks

Ok, newbie question :) Please see http://www.silvercoil.com/test/ugly.htm http://www.silvercoil.com/test/ugly.htm The page was made in FWMX04 (html table export). One of the slices of the right most part of the image was used for the body background image. I also set the following leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" so there would be no gaps. Can anyone explain why the background image (which is a slice of the right part of the tabled image) does not line up with the tabled image? It appears off by 1 pixel or so. Thanks for the help!...

Because of the 1 pixel spacer GIF at the top of the table. Just out of
curiosity, why is the image sliced into little bits like that? Are all
of those going to be interactive elements?

    Thank you Linda and Lanny..

    Linda,

The image was sliced into little bits just to make a quick example table. I have experienced this on other projects and wanted to get some input so I made something big, bright, simple, and ugly for testing.

    The thing I'm confused about...

There should not be a 1px spacer at the top. The edge slices go all the way to the edge of the doent.

Even when editing the html to make the top spacers 0px the image is still off.

Is there a way to avoid this completely from scratch with the fireworks original file?

    Thanks!!!

Yes. Don't span columns and rows with your slicing. That way you don't
need spacers to hold your table together and can change your HTML
preferences to single table - no spacers.
