Bookmark "cleaning" utility? - Mac Networking

Hello all... I have some older bookmark files that are quite large and filled with numerous URLs that I know to be no longer functional. The problem is, I don't know _which ones_ are non-functional, and don't want to go through the drudgery of manually checking each and every link to clean the files out. Is there a bookmark utility out there that can: 1. Open an existing bookmarks file, then, 2. Sequentualy verify _every_ URL in the file, then, 3. Either automatically delete broken URLs that are found, or 3a. Mark the bad URLs for manual deletion? Thanks, - ...

    Default Bookmark "cleaning" utility?

    Hello all...

I have some older bookmark files that are quite large and filled with numerous
URLs that I know to be no longer functional. The problem is, I don't know
_which ones_ are non-functional, and don't want to go through the drudgery of
manually checking each and every link to clean the files out.

Is there a bookmark utility out there that can:
    1. Open an existing bookmarks file, then,
    2. Sequentualy verify _every_ URL in the file, then,
    3. Either automatically delete broken URLs that are found, or
3a. Mark the bad URLs for manual deletion?

    Thanks,
    - John

URL Manager Pro (along with its little support program 'Big Brother')
    will do all of this.

One thing I've noticed with URL-MP is that if a link falls through to a
404 error, it often doesn't get caught as a 'bad' link.
