Boot - Suse 8.1 Professional
Hello,
I´m just installed Suse 8.1 Professional on my laptop.
During the boot it hangs at PCMCIA.
How can I confirm every job individually?
Thanks,

Re: Boot - Suse 8.1 Professional
I had problems w/ 8.1 on two different TP's and a generic desktop.
Got a copy of 7.3 professional on E-Bay and it loaded perfectly well on a
760XL and a 600X.
There is a magic phrase you can invoke at boot time to tell linux to bypass
PCMCIA - it is in the documentation in the PCMCIA section: something like
"NOPCMCIA=yes"
Since 7.3 does everything I want, I gave up putzing w/ 8.1
