Bootable CD with Debian 3.0r1, but with latest stable kernel 2.4.22... How?? - Linux Setup, Configuration & Administration

Is there anyone who has created a bootable install CD with Debian 3.0r1 with latest stable kernel 2.4.22? The original Debian 3.0r1 (2.4.18 kernel), can't boot, since it can't find my Promise Ultra 133 TX2 IDE controller, and therefore not my 120 GB Maxtor harddisk either. I would appreciate any help to acomplish such as CD. I have no possibility to compile a new kernel. TIA Lars, SWEDEN...

A solution is to load the ISO file in WinISO or some other ISO reding
program, and replace the kernel files.
But then the installscript also may be edited. I don't know.

Thanks for your effort to help. I think my NERO burning program could
create ISOs and burning them. But as I see, it I think my biggest
problem is to find a compiled (i386) 2.4.22 kernel that will suite the
rest of the Debian 3.0r1 CD 1 contents, and ofcourse to edit the
install script in some mysteries way. Please, feel free to comment
    this.

    TIA
