Border on textblock disappear when converted
Is there a way to avoid the textblock border/stroke to disappear when the
textblock is converted to paths?
Need to improve my workflow when plotting a lot of shapes/text on a Graphtec
plotter. This stroke becomes a cut line later when plotting. I have to export
vector shapes as AI and then import into Omega Composer.
Now I have to manually draw a rectangle around each converted textblock, and
is quite time consuming.
Anyone got a clue here?

Then Select > Subselect until you see the text block borders. Convert to
Paths.
Set up keyboard shortcut for both operations to make quick work.

Re: Border on textblock disappear when converted
That was very informative thanks, but what if I had; a text block with 6
columns and 6 rows, with 1 letter in each box; is there a way of making the
stroke appear around all the boxes (columns and rows) within the text box?
