Bounding Box not equal to frame size
For some reason when creating a text frame in an existing document, the bounding box is off-set equally from the frame by aprx 10 pixels. How do I get the bounding box to be the same size as the frame?

Re: Bounding Box not equal to frame size
With no docs open go to object>text frame properties and set the offset
to zero. That will fix it for new docs.
For current docs, open them up, and with nothing selected perform the
above procedure.

Re: Bounding Box not equal to frame size
When you create one of these text frames and select it with the pointer, what does the Text Wrap palette look like? Have you set text wrap to be on by default in this document is the question I'm really asking.

Re: Bounding Box not equal to frame size
Dave, Text Wrap palette greyed out and is not usable. I have to place a object (picture) in the frame in order use the text wrap palette.

Re: Bounding Box not equal to frame size
Dick, that was it. As soon a I used the selection tool I could use the Text Wrap Palette. It showed that I was using the 'wrap around boundry shape' and was offset to .0625 inches all around outside the frame. Now to figure out how to set that to zero by default so that I don't have to change it each time I create a frame.
Much thanks to all that responded.

Re: Bounding Box not equal to frame size
Deselect All, make sure the Selection tool is active, then open the Text Wrap palette. Choose the icon furthest on the left (no wrap).
If this is just happening to that one document, you're set.
If this is happening to all new documents, do the same tweak in ID with no documents open, quit ID and restart it.
