Breaking apart PDF files for email
I know there is a way to break apart a PDF in to smaller pieces with user-assigned maximum individual file sizes that are then "reassembled" when the end-user opens one of the individual files. This makes it possible to email very large PDFs in separate emails. I can't remember how I've done this in the past, so any help would be appreciated.

Re: Breaking apart PDF files for email
Thanks, but I know about extracting pages, but that's not the method I'm talking about. As I stated before, the method I'm thinking of breaks the email in to pieces based on a predetermined maximum size, say 5 MB, then reassembles when the person receiving the email opens one of the pieces.

Re: Breaking apart PDF files for email
That would be a feature of special mail clients - it's NOT part of the PDF specification NOR of the SMTP or POP protocols used for Email.
