Bringing Interface eth0.... - Linux Setup, Configuration & Administration

hi everybody... I'm using redhat7.1 in my computer. When I starting O.S. and load kernel, the Monitor show "Bringing Interface eth0" and delay... It maybe down... What should I do?? thanks!...

    Default Bringing Interface eth0....

    hi everybody...

    I'm using redhat7.1 in my computer.

    When I starting O.S. and load kernel,

    the Monitor show "Bringing Interface eth0" and delay...

    It maybe down...

    What should I do??

    Is it maybe that you configured eth0 using DHCP and
    you did not connect a cable?

    If there is a cable, try 'mii-tool' and see if the
    link is up.

    If it's down, did you directly connect two PCs not
    using a Cross-Over cable?

    If it's down, did you connect to a hub that's not
    switched on?

    Maybe all you do is power reset your cable modem, and do a
    service network restart
    maybe not.

    We cannot see your hookup.
    Maybe draw us a picture, without tabs, ip address, about your layout.
