Brother MFC 3100c printer
Thanks for reading this.
Has anyone managed to make the Brother MFC 3100c printer work in the
Linux environment please.
I am using several variations of the Ubuntu, including the new Dapper
Drake release, but I just can't seem to tickle the printer at all.
It is on the parallel port. In Ubuntu Breezy Badger, the printer would
show up in the list, but nothing could print.
In Dapper Drake the printer does not show at all.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I'd rather not swap printers as this all in one unit works fine on a DOS
BOX.

The support file I received from them is not working correctly, or I am
not understanding something a several reviews of the installation.
I was hoping someone else has the same printer and could perhaps offer
suggestion. I will keep trying though, I really am enjoying this Ubuntu
stuff.
Cheers.... ..
