Brush Advice Needed Urgently!
Does anyone have any quick advice on how to do a brush that looks realistically like a ballpoint pen? (ie: generally even weight but with small, rough edges and the appearance of a slight variation in opacity)
I'm preparing art for a direct mail letter and I've got the signature as a path. We're printing offset (spot colour), but I want the signature to look as "realistic" as possible...
Any ideas or premade bruhses out there?

If it were me, I would draw a line with a couple different pens/markers on paper, scan the lines as line art at a high resolution and then convert it to vectors using Streamline or Silhouette at a setting that keeps the natural irregularity of the line. Then use this to define your brush.
