    Default Brush Hardness

Good Morning, all. Carolina Blue everywhere this morning!

    Oh, yeah, the questioin....

I was doing some work with Richard Lynch's book last night. He talked in chapter 5 about choose a brush size (200) in this case with a "30% Hardness". I'm not making a connection between this and any of the options I see.

    Can anyone clarify?

    Default Re: Brush Hardness

    Dick,

Hardness refers to the selection brush... If you see some other options,
you're not in the selection brush, but probably using the regular brush.

If this doesn't help, write again, and specify the page number so that I can
    help you.

Actually there's hardness in the regular brush stuff too - go into "more options" - it's one of the sliders lurking in there
