    Sorry, I'm not sure how to enter bugs. :)

    In Director MX if you are creating an HTML Table on the fly using the Put X
    after html command lines, I've found that the 'colspan' function works
    perfectly (usually) but the 'rowspan' function never works.

    Just thought you guys should know.

    No one from Macromedia reads bug reports here, although it is good to point
    them out for the benefit of other developers. The lack of proper HTML
    support in Director is quite well known; it's just that the implemenation of
    HTML is extremely old and doesn't appear to conform to any particular W3C
    standard. Poor table support is one of the most complained about things, so
    the more people who request this be fixed (or "upgraded", since it's not
    technically a bug) the greater the possibility that it will actually happen
    some time in the future. Therefore I recommend you file a a bug report at
    the above URL, but at the same time, don't hold out a fix to be forthcoming
    any time soon, since this has been known about for a long time.
