I am attempting to build an asp.net project, but the build fails with the
error:

Could not copy built outputs to the Web. Unable to add 'C:\Documents and
Settings\David\VSWebCache\<TheUrl>\bin\TheDll.dll' to the project. Server
error: Cannot create file "TheDll.dll".

What must be set on the server so that a remote developer can be
authenticated? Do I have to be a member of VS_Developers? If so, how can I
be added to the group? I do not have a logon to the remote computer. Can
my machinename/login name/password be used?
