Default building dynamic pages for beginners..??

I'm using Dreamweaver: Missing Manual which is a great book, but I would like a
book that goes into more detail on how to build dynamic pages using ASP for
someone who has never done this before, like me. I have a good knowledge of
HTML.

any good books out there?

Hi VA_Webmaster25,

I honestly don't really know of any books like what you're after... Well,
there is one that I've heard of but haven't read so I'm not sure if it has
what you need: Web Application Recipes
http://www.informit.com/title/0735713200 There's a sample chapter available
in PDF format.

Would you consider video training rather than a book? If so, Dan Short (my
business partner, but that doesn't make me "biased" ;-)) did a title for
Lynda.com. You can view sample movies here:
http://movielibrary.lynda.com/html/modPage.asp?ID=91. The title can be
viewed with their Online Learning Library subscription or purchased on
CD-Rom.

Most of it is point and click with Dreamweaver, but he also covers some of
the important things you'd need to know as well. The title covers building a
blog application.

Hope that helps,
~Angela
