Burn Site to CD

Is it possible to build a site with links with contribute and then download the
site to my Mac and burn the pages with links to a CD? I wish for another user
to be able to insert the disk in a MAc or PC, open the project in a browser to
view and navigate from page to page but not have to be on-line to do so.

I hope I adaquetly phrased the question to receive a response from someone who
knows how to do this.

In theory that should be possible, if the web site is made up of just your
basic old static HTML pages, and the links are relative. In most cases these
days people make sites that use ASP, PHP, and/or Database backends to render
dynamic content.
