There is no one product I know of, but Mac OS X comes with everything
you need to do this. Folders and/or files with resource forks can be
put on a disk image (with Disk Copy), which can then be split using,
shockingly enough, the "split" command. If you're uncomfortable at the
command line, apps like Split&Concat put a GUI on the process.

Okay, I did a "man split" in Terminal, and it looks like I will be able to
    split the file.
What is the opposite command that re-joins the split files back together?

I did a "man join" in Terminal, but I really don't understand what "join" does.

    Thanks.
