Burning PDFs on CDs - Mac Applications & Software

Hi, I am creating a CD which has PDF doents. I am creating this CD in a Mac OS X v10.2 environment. But when I put the CD in a Mac OS 9.x environment I find that the PDF files do not link to the Acrobat reader software. I have found a software called pdftyper which tells the Mac that it should open the pdf file with Acrobat reader Only problem with this software is that it only runs on Mac OS 9.x, I need one for Mac OS X. Default Burning PDFs on CDs

    Hi,
I am creating a CD which has PDF doents.
I am creating this CD in a Mac OS X v10.2 environment.
But when I put the CD in a Mac OS 9.x environment I find that the PDF
files do not link to the Acrobat reader software.
I have found a software called pdftyper which tells the Mac that it
should open the pdf file with Acrobat reader
Only problem with this software is that it only runs on Mac OS 9.x, I
need one for Mac OS X.

Can anybody tell me there is a Mac OS X software that does this?

According to the OSX help file
You click once on the doent you want to open> under > File go to>
Get Info and you will find > Open With ...and that is where you can
    select the appropriate application.

Further info is in the help file.

That won't put the type/creator codes in place that would be needed for
    a file going to a non-OS X user.

The PDFTyper program probably works in Classic on OS X, but there are
alternatives. I've taken to using something called File Typer 1.0.1,
which can be found at VersionTracker.com.

    > Hi,

If you have the Developer tools installed, you can simply use

    SetFile -c "CARO" -t "PDF " myfile.pdf

from the command line. If you want to do it on all the files in a
    folder, type

    SetFile -c "CARO" -t "PDF " *.pdf
