Hi,
the movie i'll be talking about can be found here so please have a
look :

The frame is built of 4 lines and 2 fill colours between them.
The movie is build of 3 keyframes to create this animation of the
middle line.

I'd like to do the following : when the mouse is over the red area -
do something (in my case - change the red to another colour), and when
the mouse is over the blue area - change it's colour.

Sounds like a simple work for a Button symbol, but if i convert the
fill areas in my 3 keyframes to button symbols, the "Tween Shape"
doesnt work anymore beacuse it's not a shape anymore. and if i break
down the symbol to a shape, the animation works but of course it's not
a button so the funtion doesn't work.

can anybody help me ?
I thought of many solutions but i don't know how to implement them in
action-script (i'm new to it) like :

1) use the 'onEnterFrame' or something like that to check all the time
what
are the coordinators of the mouse, and make some kind of question to
flash - what is the object in these coordinates, what is that object's
colour ?
but i understand that a shape is not really an object so i can't do
that ?

2) instead of using the Tween Shape, i can convert all the frames to
keyframes and go to each frame in between, turn the fill area to a
button and attach the function i want ...
but it's madness, i have lots of keyframes and the movie i wanna do is
bigger than this sample.

the source of the movie can be found here :

I'd appreciate any help,
Thanks,
Hagai.
