    Default Buttons Disappear for Good

I'm creating a jeopardy type game where the menu page consists for 25 buttons and each button will link to another page that contains the question. Upon going back to the main menu I want the button the user just clicked to become invisible. I'm under the impression that I must create a cookie in order for this to work. I'm not the greatest programmer in the world and I'm just stuck, help me please.

I'm actually not using any server side code because this is game I'm making won't actually be on a web server as weird as that may sound. This program I'm making must run from a stand alone machine. Can languages like PHP and ASP run from a stand alone machine without a server properly?

    Absolutely.

Remember, all a server is is a computer! :)

ASP can be installed by going to control panel and add/remove programs, then add/remove windows components. You'll be looking for a checbox that says Internet Information Services, IIS. Check it, and continue.

To install PHP go to php.net and look for the install package.

    Good luck,
    Giovanni
