buttons images
Hi all,
I created a button in Fireworks (with all the states drawn : up, down etc...)
When I export the button FW file to htm file, it is exported with slices by default.
When I open the generated htm file from explorer, the button doesn't work and instead of having the only image of the button up I see five distorted images of the button at the same time on the page in different positions.
Where is the fault?

Re: buttons images
Hi Cluster,
That's the first time I've heard that one. Can you put a copy of your
editable PNG file up on your site so we can download it and have a look?
Best regards,
Linda Rathgeber

Re: buttons images
It's happening because the button isn't centered in all four frames of
your Fireworks document. You can see that in the button editor when you
click from one tab to another.
I've redone your button (and had some fun with the button states). You
can download the PNG file from here, open it in the FW button editor and
see what I've done.

Re: buttons images
Thank you Linda,
I like very much what you made of the wings.

Re: buttons images
That is an interesting little wing design. Did you draw that yourself
in FW or did you scan it or pull it in from somewhere?
I am curious how you would get all those symetrical curved lines in
there, etc.
I suspect you would draw one side and then clone it and flip it. But
would love to hear from you or Linda how you would best approach
something like that from scratch in FW.
Best!
