Re: Buttons over quicktime video
Hi Alma,
Digital video plays best in Director when it's set to be direct to
stage. Direct to stage gives the screen space occupied by the digital
video sprite over to the video player. Every other element in the
Director movie is then in a space behind the digital video.
So if you set the direct to stage property to TRUE, you can't place a
sprite on top of the digital video. Not using direct to stage can
dramatically lower the playback quality of the digital video file.
You can incorporate interactive elements into Quicktime. You will have
to do it outside of Director. Once incorporated, those interactive
elements can communicate with Director.
