C3.1 Mac Hangs

MacOS 10.3.8, C3.1

I installed C3.1. The first try to use it with an existing site connected
OK, allowed me to edit an existing page, but hung (spinning cursor) on trying
to create a new page, never even puts up the dialog. I connected to the site
via FTP and remove all but HTML and image files. Now opening a new page works.

But when I attempt to insert a table in a new page, C3.1 hangs at the "Insert
Table" page. I tried a total 3.1 re-install. No change. The net performance
log most recent items seem to indicate it can't find a template subdirectory --
that should not cause a hang.

This isn't going very well. Any ideas?

Talking to myself eh?

I reverted to C3 and everything works as it should.

Conclusion: C3.1 is broken. IS ANYONE LISTENING?
