Calculate Ink Percentages in Acrobat Professional

Hello -

I would like to be able to calculate percentage of ink coverage in my PDF document. Will that be an option in Acrobat Professional 8? Would be nice to export a word .doc showing calculated ink percentages of each separation - maybe out of the "Output Preview?"

The Total Area Coverage display in Output Preview works the same way in Acrobat 8 Professional as sin Acrobat 7 Professional. It shows a color for values above a threshold.

If you convert one of your PDF page to small sized JPG then you can
measure your ink coverage with this link

similar page will give the same resoult then try the pages which have
many images or bold content
