Having spent a few sessions sitting next to a designer putting together my
mail order brochure using Quark on a Mac, I'm tempted to have a go myself.
If I get ID for my PC, am I likely to be able to gradually teach myself
(with a book), or is there just way too much to learn for a
non-professional?

Also, if I can get things looking the way I want, am I then likely to find
that I've done everything in a dumb non-professional way that makes the
output useless for my printing house??
