Not without a plug-in. But they can be assigned to a keystroke combo
like CTRL+1. Just mark the option for it to show on the menu.

I've had time to digest this. I wasn't happy at first with using
numbers (I'd forgotten that. In old Claris days, I did make a db on a
Mac that used all the numbers, but that was 10 years ago now. Yes,
I'm a newbie, but many years in between that one Mac experience and
when I got into it again in Windows.)
But on having time to think on it, it will be okay.
My next concern was the prompt. I've been using a button with a
question mark for user tips so that a user could click to get info on
how to best deal with the issue the question mark related to. But I
think this will no longer be good. I've been trying to remember what
has been used in the odd program here and there as an icon for this
instead of the question mark. Like a roadsign with no lettering, what
does anyone think would be a good symbol to hunt down as a button icon
image for this? Something that will signal to the user to push for a
tip. Then I could explain re ^1 being key combo to click to get into
field quickly, that sort of thing.
It's been over a day and the image just doesn't come to mind.
Thanks for the tip, Howard! Really appreciate it.
