Can ASP components be run on Chillisoft ASP server? - ASP Components

Client of mine suddenly wants to move a ASP app from W2K server to a Linux box running Chillisoft, or todays Sun ONE Active Server Pages 4.0.1. The apps contains several third-party components. Is this doable? Any insight in this is deeply appreciated Thanks in advance Christian...

I'd venture to say that only if the third party provides a component for
that OS. Your clients are insane. If they want to run Microsoft
technology, tell them to stay on a Microsoft server. If they want to run on
a Linux server, tell them to run Linux technology.

Sounds like someone in management - not IT - read an article about Linux.
