Can Contribute maintain flash sites?

i know just from reading a couple of post's that contribute can't be used to
update a site made in flash... but then i see where it can update item's ( text
etc ) that is loaded into the flash site from an external source... how would i
do that... im building a flash website for an indoor football team and quite a
few of the page's are going to updated regulary if not on a daily basis... one
page for example has been laid out in fireworks and ive placed boxes throughout
the page for the text to be loaded / placed... does contribute work with
fireworks? what is the best way to set this up... please help...

Take a look at:

You can also do a search for Flash text file import (or something along those
lines) to find other techniques. You can use .html files as imports and
Contribute can directly edit those files. If you go the txt route Contribute
will allow you to open the file in an external editor (like Notepad) and then
upload the edited file.

I guess you are all corret that Contribute IS capable of editing some txt,
html, or xml content to lateron import into Flash. But on the other hand
Contribute's target is something completely different: Editing and managing
Websites made of HTML.

Editing content to be importet into flash would be like cutting your hair with
a lawn mower.
