Can CT 2 and CT3.1 coexist on the same PC

I have a client that is still using CT2 to handle their site content. I
now have a new client that I will be placing on CT3.1 site support.

Since I have to support both clients and I have read that there are some
issues supporting a CT2 site with CT3; I'm wondering how to handle the
issue.

Are there any good articles or papers on the web that cover this issue?

I support all of our Contribute users so I have 2.0 and 3.1 installed on my PC and have not encountered any problems..

Thanks for the feedback. I assume that you simply have to keep your
support clients in their proper site open list in each of the versions.
I guess that would work pretty well here too. :-)
