Can DW4 extensions work in MX 2004?
I have a number of extensions in my DW 4 that I would like to have in DW
2004 MX, but don't.. These include the one that hides the IE image toolbar
(very important with artists' sites!), one that hides the dotted lines around
links in IE once they have been clicked, and so on.
How can I get these extensions in MX 2004? The MX extension manager won't
install them, and I have not been able to find mx compatable ones. :confused;

Anyway, when you say that EM won't install them, what exactly do you
mean by that? Stpes please.
In EM you can also go to File > Import extensions and then make the
proper selections. I don't have DW4 installed so not sure if it will
recognize DW4 any more.

Re: Can DW4 extensions work in MX 2004?
Some extensions just aren't compatible with MX and won't install because of
the versioning for installation set by the developer. There's nothing you
can do about that short of contacting the developer and asking them if there
is a version of the extension that will install on MX.

These include the one that hides the IE image toolbar
a snippet could replace this extension?> (very important with artists' sites!),
or someone could get permission to update the dreamweaverfever extension to
be mx compatible?
one that hides the dotted lines aroundhttp://www.fourlevel.com/extensions.htm -->blur all links> links in IE once they have been clicked
note- some people need the focus on the elements to work, because they
navigate by tabbing through links.
