can everyone help me? about intelligent miner - IBM DB2

I can run idmeruns in command line in aix system with Intelligent Miner. the command line is : idmeruns -s 10.5.65.81 -u administrator -p 111111 -dbu db2inst1 -dbp 111111 lndlim app_dys app_dys is a model of Linear Regression in application mode . I can run it in my c programe if I put it the head of the main function in system mode ,like follow system("idmeruns -s 10.5.31.81 -u administrator -p 111111 -dbu b2inst1 -dbp 111111 lndlim app_dys"); I can run it after connect db2. I can run it after DECLARE a CURSOR, but I can't run it after I ...

    Default can everyone help me? about intelligent miner


    I can run idmeruns in command line in aix system with Intelligent Miner.

    the command line is :



    idmeruns -s 10.5.65.81 -u administrator -p 111111 -dbu db2inst1 -dbp
    111111 lndlim app_dys



    app_dys is a model of Linear Regression in application mode .



    I can run it in my c programe if I put it the head of the main function
    in system mode ,like follow

    I can run it after connect db2.

    I can run it after DECLARE a CURSOR,

    but I can't run it after I open the cursor,It has no answer until I
    Ctrl+C to end it.

    I have no idea what your commands do under the hood. (sql?)
    I'd suspect some locks or something similar.
    e.g. try to issue a db2 get snapshot for locks ... when your command hang.

    the command line is not sql ,It's a command of Intellient Miner for
    miner data and get the result.

    surely,It's conflict between db2 cursor and Intellient Miner.

    but I don't understand why they are conflict?

    What i meant is that the Intellient Miner is probably doing some sql calls
    under the hood.
    Connect statement
    select statement, ...

    Possible problems i can foresee (doesn't mean your problem is in this list.)
    User input required (program waiting)
    locks
    path problems

    If on windows,
    Is it any better if you do something like system("start idmeruns ...")
    This should start a new shell.
    Do a start /? on the command line to see all the options.
    Any better if you pipe input and output using nul device or an output file?
    (just for testing)

    Just as a test, i'd try those spawn* functions instead of system. (not sure
    it would change anything though)
