    Default Can I Automate pasting the same background

    <http://www.mscookie.com>

    I need to put the same blue clouds background behind each image (only aplies to images saved as jpg which is most of them)

    Is there any way to automate this or otherwise work around it?

    On a related note, if we choose to put the images in a setting like these are: <http://www.mscookie.com/occasions/christmas2.asp> is there any site where I can obtain free or low cost settings to use as backdrops?

    Thanks

    oh, thought you were starting out w/a new image.

    have target image open. start recording. open background image. select all. copy. switch to target image. paste. move new layer to bottom. rename to "Background" if you want. close background image. stop recording.

    Dave's way will work, but it's tricky with Next Image and Previous Image commands. If the background is the same size as the original image, here's what I'd do.

    I'd open all the image that need the background - if more than say, 30, I'd process the open images in batches of 30, more than once. The reason is this: if you open your 30 images AND your background image, you can use Image|Apply Image that will call a specific open image to be "applied", in this case your background. You record that along with a Layer Move and you can apply this automatically to all open images. When you are finished, you can batch save.

    Thanks Dave,

    I avoid Next Image and Previous Image where ever possible. Russell Brown's automated picture package technique demonstrates how organized one has to be to do it with Prev/Next Image. It works fine, but if you're not careful....
