Can I Control Where My Page is Saved on the Server?
I've created a new html page with Contribute and I want to save it in a custom
folder on my web server instead of in the default folder. I also want to give
my new page a custom name.
How can I :
1. Name my new page
2. Control what folder my new page is saved on in the server?
Thanks!

Re: Can I Control Where My Page is Saved on the Server?
Hi,
Yes this can be achieved in Contribute by using the File Placement.
For windows,
Step 1: Connect to the website. Go to Edit -> Administer -> <website>
Step 2: Select the user role and edit the role settings
Step 3: Navigate to the File placement option on the left pane
Step 4: Add , Type in the extensions of the file for example , .html, .jpeg etc
Step 5: Mention path in your website. Done
There after any pages of that extension would reside in the folder configured
using the file placement.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,

Re: Can I Control Where My Page is Saved on the Server?
And yet another question which is unanswered , how to name the page? While
publish you can always choose the file name. Incase if its a published page,
you can rename it using the conventional method of renaming files in any PC.
You can browse to the page, publish it as new page with desired name and delete
the old ones. Please also ensure that the links are not broken after the rename
of files.
