Default can i force a shockwave file to load before html?

    help,

i'm looking for a way to force the browser to load a shockwave file before html.

Well my problem is that I have a shockwave file on a layer and even though i've placed that layer behind others, the html text loads instantly then it takes a few seconds to load the dcr file and it loads itself on the top layer.

I'm thinking that if I can get the shockwave file to load first then have the html load the text may load on top? Although i'm not sure if that will work. Any way to force a dcr file back to the bottom layer?

    thanks a bunch a munch

Shockwave files are activeX content that will always grab the top position
in the stack. With flash you can set the background property to transparent
to get around this slightly, but not sure about files created in director.

you can't get a director file before the html...what is going to load the director file.....beside director...flash...QuickTime files basically sit on top of the html...for a lack of an explanation....no real way around this...
