Can I make a sort of "pop up" in a pdf document?
I am working on a document in which a figure (bar chart) is referred to frequently in the text.
I would like my readers to be able to see the figure when they point to/move their mouse over the "see figure 1" in the text (a sort of a temporary "pop up"), but then be able to go reading without having left the page they were on. I can make a link to the page that contains the figure, but then they have to navigate back to where they were reading before.
I am working in Acrobat 6 on mac OS 10.3.9

Look in Acrobat Help for how to create Show/Hide Fields with the Button tool.

If you can't set up what you want, to navigate back is simple, use <command-left arrow>.
In v6 there is a problem that this will only work if the link and destination are not on the same page.
