Can I make b/w tiff in PE?
I frequently need to make 1 color (B&W) tiff. I can do it in Photoshop but I'd rather use PE. I bought PE1 and had to return it because it wouldn't do RGB to Bitmap conversion. If I can do it in PE2, I'll buy it. Anyone know the answer? Thanks.

Re: Can I make b/w tiff in PE?
Judy, I'll admit to being a little confused by your question - not sure
where the need for bitmap arises...?
In any event, with Elements - either version 1 or 2 - you can turn an RGB
image into a bitmap; in version 1, you have to convert to grayscale first,
then bitmap, while in version 2, it makes that intermediate conversion to
grayscale as part of the RGB to bitmap mode change. And in either 1 or 2,
you can save the resultant bitmap in TIFF, BMP, GIF and several other
formats.
