Sometimes. It depends on what you put in them. If you create PDFs in Acrobat 6 that are PDF 1.5 then earlier versions of Acrobat and Reader will display a warning message that the file *might* contain things that can't be viewed or printed correctly. You can use the PDF Optimizer in 6.0 Pro to set the compatibility level.
