Can PS7 Select "long side" when Batch Resizing?
Hi,
I work on scanned 35mm slides, and eventually they must be resized. As there are thousands, I want to batch process them. I select '"Constrain Proportions" so the images won't get stretched, however, the images are a mixed bag of horizontal and verticle orientations, so I need to find a way to include "select long side" in the batch process. Can this be done? Has anyone here found a way to auto-select the long side of an image in a batch process?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Re: Can PS7 Select "long side" when Batch Resizing?
Ah, I see. So, if I wanted to be sure all images were under 800 pixels on their longs sides, I'd simple select 800 pixels as both my width and length?

Re: Can PS7 Select "long side" when Batch Resizing?
Yes. That way the image would always fit into an imaginary 800x800 box, making the longest side 800 no matter the orientation.
