Computer A: WinXP Professional
Computer name: soniapc
Workgroup: HOME
IP address: 210.3.79.173
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.192
Default Gateway: 210.3.79.129
DHCP Server: 192.168.252.202***
DNS Servers: 210.0.144.26 210.0.144.66

Computer B:WinXP Professional
Computer name: johnnypc
Workgroup: HOME
IP address: 210.3.79.134
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.192
Default Gateway: 210.3.79.129
DHCP Server: 210.0.144.2***
DNS Servers: 210.0.144.26 210.0.144.66

Both computers are connected to a 5-port switching HUB
which connects to the internet.

Some of the results are:
1 - Computer A cannot ping 210.3.79.134 of Computer B
2 - Computer A cannot net view \\johnnypc
3 - Computer A cannot net view \\210.3.79.134
4 - Computer A can sees Computer B when "View workgroup
computers"***
5 - Computer B can ping 210.3.79.173 of Computer A
6 - Computer B cannot net view \\soniapc***
7 - Computer B can net view \\210.3.79.173 but cannot
access any of the shared folders
8 - Computer B cannot see anything when "View workgroup
computers" error msg: "Home is not accessible. You might
not have permission to use this network resource. The
list of servers for this workgroup is not currently
available.***

Point 4, 6 and 8 I cannot make any sense of it. Seems
like the computer can partially see each other but just
not talking to each other. Another weird point is the
DHCP Server on Computer A is different from DHCP Server on
Computer B. I am not familar with much networking. Not
sure if that points to any lead. Please help me get these
two to talk. You help is very much appreciated.

Regards,

Johnny
