Can someone exlain...
Can someone tell me what is meant by repairing permissions and what the appropriate permissions setting should be?
I'm a bit lost on this particular issue and having troubles with Illustrator CS. It "Unexpectedly quits" whevever I try to launch it. I'm running OS X 10.2.8
Thanks

Open up Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility). In the panel on the left select the volume which you boot from in Mac OS X. Make sure you're on the First Aid panel. Click the Repair Disk Permissions. Let it do it's thing. When finished (it'll let you know), quit out. Your disk permissions are fixed.
