i set up a site in dreamweaver using dreamweaver templates and i just gave the client access to it via contribute 3. when they browse to a specific page they always get the following error at the top of the page: "You can't edit this page because it wasn't found on the website or it is a directory listing." this makes no sense because if i log in via a ftp client i can clearly see that the page is there and it certainly is not a directory listing. i tried deleting the page from the server and uploading a ...

Default can't edit a page in contribute

i set up a site in dreamweaver using dreamweaver templates and i just gave the
client access to it via contribute 3. when they browse to a specific page they
always get the following error at the top of the page:
"You can't edit this page because it wasn't found on the website or it is a
    directory listing."

this makes no sense because if i log in via a ftp client i can clearly see
that the page is there and it certainly is not a directory listing. i tried
deleting the page from the server and uploading a fresh local copy from
dreamweaver and it had no effect.

i searched google and all i found was another post on this board about a
similar problem with no answer and there seems to be nothing about it in the
    contribute help files.

any help woudl be greatly appreciated.

    url address to the page?

anything else going in that kind of area?

it does not use any SSI's - there are pages on the site using CFML but this page doesn't use any.

I'm not that familiar with the program yet... but it entered my mind to ask... are there folders with the same names as files on the site?
