Can't Edit Due To Other User Editing...But not open - Macromedia Contribute General Discussion

My client is having issues trying to update content on his site. It's stating that I'm still editing the page, even though I have my computer shut down, and haven't had the file open for a few hours. Any idea why this is happening? Thank you!...

I sometimes have to go to the site via ftp and delate locked files (.lck)

I'm kinda a novice though on Contribute.

First check if you have a draft of the specific page open and cancel or publish
    the draft.
Check if you have the file checked out in Dreamweaver and check it in or undo
    check out.
Check the server where your website is hosted and look for a file named
'name-of-the-page-you-cant-edit.LCK'. Delete this file and you should be fine.

These .lck files tell Contribute someone is editing a page or has the page
checked out in Dreamweaver. In the file is only a user/role name and
emailadres. Sometimes these files are by some (network, time out, etc.) mistake
not deleted by Contribute after publishing the page.
