Can't get CFEXECUTE to work??? - Coldfusion - Advanced Techniques

We're running CFMX6.1 and I can't get even the simplest cfexecute statement to work. Just trying to get anything to work, I tried this statement: <cfexecute name = "c:\dir" timeout = "0" />, and I get this error: " An exception occurred when invoking an external process. The cause of this exception was that: java.io.IOException: CreateProcess: c:\dir error=2". What does error=2 mean? I've looked on the web and newgroups and can't find much about this at all. Can someone give me any kind of information that might be helpful in figuring out what the problem is? Thanks!...

Default Re: Can't get CFEXECUTE to work???

I figured out what the problem was. (I still can't get c:/dir to work but who
cares?) Anyway, the real program we're trying to run is sfxcl.exe which you
can run from the c:\ prompt on the command line. However, you have to tell CF
the exact location of the actual executable file which was located in \Program
Files\SecureFX\ Once we change the name attribute from "c:\sfxcl.exe" to
"c:\Program Files\SecureFX\sfxcl.exe", it worked like a charm. Hopefully, this
answer will help others looking for help with this error in the future. Thanks!
