Can't show a sheet on top of a sheet in 10.3 (Some Apps) - Mac Programming

We are experiencing a problem displaying a dialog sheet on top of a dialog sheet. This used to work in 10.2, but I have problems with some applications in 10.3. We have a printer PDE which displays a customized user interface (as a sheet). This sheet is displayed on top of the printer sheet (aslo a sheet). We are experiencing a problem displaying a dialog sheet on top of a
dialog sheet. This used to work in 10.2, but I have problems with some
applications in 10.3. We have a printer PDE which displays a
customized user interface (as a sheet). This sheet is displayed on top
of the printer sheet (aslo a sheet). When bring up the print dialog
sheet and then try to bring up my sheet on top of it, I call
ShowSheetWindow(). This call returns -50 (paramErr) in the case that
it fails and 0, when it shows my sheet. Is there some problem with
    this?

This seems to occur when I run apps like Safari, Text Edit or PDF
Preview on 10.3. But other applications like MS Word, CodeWarrior and
    it works (in 10.3).

As I said, it all worked in 10.2. Some guesses I have is that there is
a compatibility with Cocoa applications (Text Edit and Safari)? I
don't know. I could not find anything programatically wrong with what
    I am doing.

If anyone has a similar problem, I would like to know about it.

    Thanks

Is that really good interface design? I mean, what do the Aqua
Interface Guidelines say about sheets? mb. :-\

That's because you are not supposed to be able to display one sheet on top of
    another.

Sheets are meant to be modal and grab the users sole attention for
that window hence showing two sheets at the same time makes no sense -
don't do it. If you want to show customised printing options add them
to the print sheet, don't bring up your own.

Not supported. Address the sheet and find out what window it's
attached to. Then pull the second sheet from that window. You'll
    find it overlays the first.

But /really/ you're meant to use the extendible printing
interface to set the options you were setting with the second
dialog sheet. You can add your own tabs to the printer setup
dialog and your own settings to the 'Page Setup' dialog.
