Cannot create pdf from any Quark 6.1 files!

Up until Monday, May 2nd I had no problem creating PDF'S from Quark. All of a sudden it says that it cannot create pdf from file (file may be corrupt or file is not a supported file type). I have uninstalled, and reinstalled all programs (the whole Adobe CS as well as Quark to no avail). Does anyone know why this would happen out of the blue? And what can I do to get Acrobat to pdf my Quark files again? I do volunteer work for a group in my town and desperately need the pdf function to be working so I can send the 12 page newsletter that I layout each month to the printer.
Please help if you know what is going on........DESPERATE!

You must have changed your method of making PDF files, since Acrobat
will never have known how to open a Quark document....

I m a new acrobat user, & i m also facing this problem, Illustrator file easily convert into a PDF, but some of JPEGs & Photoshop files are giving the same file corrpt error,,

I have recently developed this problem also. I am using quark 6.5, distiller 6.0.2.
When distilling the postscript file created from the quark file, the message I get is:
%%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: distillsave ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

I updated Norton Anti Virus as suggested in a posting, but no difference.

I find that if I retry the distilling process, I can (usually) eventually create a PDF, but it is extremely time consuming.

Any ideas?

Turn off Auto-Protect in NAV if you can't dump it entirely. Distiller creates a temp file that NAV tries to scan for viruses as it is being created. The conflict means that the file is not written correctly.
