Have you tried to create a simple cfm hello world script to test to make sure that coldfusion is running properly on the machine?

I have not had time to test yet. I was hoping for a quick answer to the problem.
I have checked that CFServer is running, and WWWebService as well. Both
up and running, and accepting default.cfm pages. Confusing to me...

I have the reverse which is really weird. I can only view .cfm files .html ones don't work.

I would verify that ColdFusion is working on the domain in question first. I
have seen .cfm removed from a single website before when somebody was trying to
"clean" up extension on a server. Once you have verified that the extension is
there and basic CF works then we can go from there.

Pete, Do you mean that html files are not being served at all by your server
or CF in your html files is not working?

    Thank you PokerThreads,

Please explain how to verify that ColdFusion is working on the domain. Do you
mean, do i have .cfm checked in IIS? If so, yes, it is.

Also, what do you mean by "clean" up extension on a server?

    thanks,
    Jason
